The house
The whole house, only for your group
GS Farm House is a private holiday home on East Coast Road, Chennai's coastal road of beach houses.
You book the whole place, so the bedrooms, the pool and the garden are shared only with the people you bring. Each of the three bedrooms has a double bed and an extra mattress, and the house sleeps twelve.
Upstairs, the swimming pool is indoors and enclosed. Outside, a green lawn, potted hibiscus and a tiled gazebo under the mango trees make room for a slow breakfast or a long evening together.

Does GS Farm House on ECR have a private swimming pool?
Yes. The pool is indoors, upstairs on the first floor, enclosed on all sides and used only by your group. We're the only farm house in the area with an indoor pool.
Can we book just one or two rooms?
No. GS Farm House is booked as a whole house, so the bedrooms, the pool and the garden are only for your group.
How many guests can stay at the farm house?
Up to 12. There are three bedrooms, each with a double bed and an extra mattress, and 4 bathrooms.
Is GS Farm House pet friendly?
Yes. We love animals and pets are welcome. We only ask that you keep the house clean after them.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is at 12 noon.
Can we check out late?
Only when no guests are arriving the next day. It's a big property and cleaning takes time, so ask us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm.
How far is the beach from the farm house?
About a 7-minute walk, or a 2-minute drive.
Is there Wi-Fi or a TV?
No, on purpose. Come and enjoy the calm, the garden and each other's company.
Can we have a birthday party or small event?
Yes, for small gatherings: birthdays, family get-togethers, pre-wedding shoots and corporate offsites. We don't host big events. Music is fine indoors at a low volume, but please no loud music on the lawn, out of respect for our neighbours. We don't provide speakers.
Is there a caretaker at the property?
Yes. Our caretakers stay at the entrance of the property or in the house next door. You'll get their number once your booking is confirmed.
What animals might we see?
Peacocks visit some mornings, so step out early. Squirrels run all over the garden. There are monkeys in the area, so keep food covered and doors and windows shut.
Can we cook at the farm house?
Yes. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge, a microwave and RO drinking water. Kraft and the La Rue 18 food mall are within walking distance if you'd rather eat out.
Is there parking and power backup?
Yes to both. There's car parking at the property, and power backup for when the power goes out.
